"Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent." Acts 8:19b Pastor Herb Kopp

Last year's Missions Conference was held at the Zion Mennonite Church in Schanzenfeld, Manitoba. The keynote speaker was retired Mennonite Brethren pastor Herb Kopp.

This year's conference was held in three main sessions, as well as a men's prayer breakfast, a Board of Missions meeting and a ladies' day.

In the first session on Friday, Pastor Kopp spoke on the conference theme verse found in Acts 18:9. God encourages His people not to be afraid and spoke these words to people of the Bible: Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Zachariah, Mary, and Joseph were some examples. People shound not be silent, for this is a natural reaction to fear.

The second session, on Saturday, focused on Acts 16:11-34. Three kinds of languages can be used to speak to people: doctrine, action, and music.

The third session was based on Hebrews 11:9-12, 17-19, "Being a blessing to the world", referring to the faith of Abraham and Isaac.
