| Applying for Missions |

Members of our CMC church family who feel God leading them to joining a full-time mission, going on a short-term mission trip, or working at a Bible Camp, the Board of Missions may provide financial support.
Career Missionaries If you feel God leading you towards a full-time position in the mission field, please discuss your intentions first with your pastor and/or local church's missions committee. Afterwards, contact the Executive Secretary (Cornie Penner) by email, in person, or in writing. The required application forms will be sent to you; these forms can also be found on this web page in PDF format. If you are married, your spouse is required to submit a completed application and medical report as well.
Please read the CMC Missions Handbook before submitting your application. It contains more detailed information regarding the application process and what will be expected of applicants. Short Term Missions If you wishing to serve the Lord on a short term missions trip (less than one year), please discuss your intentions with your pastor and/or local church's mission committee. When you are ready to apply, the application form is on this page. Camp Workers Those who are serving six or more weeks at a Bible camp this coming summer may apply for financial support. Such applications must be received by June 1, before camp begins. To apply, complete the Short Term Missions Application Form, sign, and return it to the conference office.
Applications can be completed on your computer by clicking on the appropriate link from the box. When the PDF file opens, type your information into the required fields. Once done, print the form, sign it, and submit it to conference office, along with any other documents that are required. Please print a copy of the application for yourself as well. Please mail, fax, or deliver your application in person to the Conference Office. For your own safety, we ask that you NOT email any forms that contain personal information. Note: Financial support is for attendees and members of CMC churches. Others may contact the Board of Missions for more information on how the CMC can provide assistance to their ministry. |
