The Chortitzer Mennonite Conference strongly believes in the church's mandate in fulfilling the "Great Commission" of preaching, teaching, and discipling. Currently, the CMC supports more than 20 missionaries and missionary couples serving in various ministries across Canada and around the world.

The CMC Board of Missions, established in 1968, consists of both Conference Ministerial and laymen from the various churches. Its mandate is to send our missionaries, administer their financial support, and keep our churches updated on what is happening in their respective mission fields. The Board also provides financial support to short term mission workers, including those who work at Bible camps.


Supporting Missions
The majority of the Mission funds are received through the regular contributions of CMC members, but individuals and organizations are welcome to partner with us in furthering Christ's kingdom.

If you wish to make a special donation to a certain missionary or to missions in general, please make your cheque payable to the CMC Board of Missions and mark with the envelope as to where you wish the money to go. You may send your cheque directly to the conference office or simply leave it in the offering plate at a CMC church. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
