Sara Wiens "Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and financial support over the last year and a half during my time with Operation Mobilization. Due to personal reasons, my time with OM has come to a close and I would really appreciate your prayers for the coming months as I settle back in at Zion Mennonite Church and at home with my family and friends. That last months have been a a very difficult journey, but it has been at these depths I have discovered a deeper level of the Love of God that I had not come upon in my life before. His faithfulness has truly humbled me. So at this time I am taking an taking an indefinite leave from ministry." - Sara
Jeremy Thiessen "I am doing really well and enjoying the ministry out here. As you know, I am based in Yangon, Burma and also working in the surrounding areas. God is very much alive in this part of the world, especially in this Buddhist enriched society. The ministries that I am involved with include orphanage visits, programs, Bible studies with monks and different youth groups in surrounding areas. Burma is a very relationship based area, so these are things we focus on. Could you pray especially for health as Burma is really dirty and full of disease. I have been granted the best health among the members of my team; others have not been so fortunate. Also pray for energy as our schedule is full and sometimes overwhelming." - Jeremy
Jonathan & Fiona Thiessen "Yes, we've already had one busy month of winter and we still have four to go! The past month has been very busy: Jonathan as enjoyed the challenge of a lot of teaching and preaching as well as spending days searching for materials for the new building. Caleigh is nearly walking - holding on to just one hand and every taking a few steps on her own. The DC students have nearly finished their first term and we are tired, but continually amazed at all that God is doing." - Jonathan & Fiona
From the Board of Missions As we celebrate Christmas 2009, praise God for the opportunities we have had to bring the gospel to different parts of the world through our missionaries. Let's pray for all our missionaries as they celebrate Christmas away from their families. May you have a Blessed Christmas as you celebrate the birth of Jesus
